Enhance La Jolla
Enhance La Jolla is an organization dedicated to the maintenance and physical improvement of the Village of La Jolla. Established as a 501(c)3 not for profit organization, Enhance La Jolla is operated by commercial and residential property owners within the boundaries of the La Jolla Maintenance Assessment District (MAD) and other community stakeholders. Enhance La Jolla manages one of the 64 Maintenance Assessment Districts in San Diego, which have a contract with the City to make improvements in the public right-of-way and may also implement privately contracted capital projects, in addition to the maintenance services underwritten by property owner fees.
La Jolla Community Foundation
The La Jolla Community Foundation, an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, is dedicated to improving our community through pooled philanthropy. Our purpose and vision are to foster a sense of community among La Jollans while enriching the environmental, social, and cultural experience in La Jolla. We are dedicated to enhancing the aesthetic character of the community through funding of public art, landscape, and architectural improvements. The Foundation underwrote six architects to develop a streetscape plan for the Village of La Jolla and is raising funds to make this dream a reality.
