Enhance La Jolla has 13 Directors on its governing Board. Pursuant to the bylaws, 7 are property owners (or representatives of property owners) paying the LJMAD assessment; 3 are members of the Board of Directors of the La Jolla Community Foundation; 1 is a member of the La Jolla Village Merchants Association; and 2 are representatives of the La Jolla community at large. TERMS AND ELECTIONS
The initial terms were measured from the date the management contract was signed with the City of San Diego. As Director terms expire, seats stand for election at the annual meeting. Property owners within the MAD (or authorized property owner representative) are eligible to stand for election and to vote.
The ELJ Management Contract with the City of San Diego was signed on September 4, 2019. This date governs the start of the terms of the members initially appointed to the board.
