Enhance La Jolla, an organization dedicated to the maintenance and physical improvement of the
Village of La Jolla, is accepting nominations to our board of directors through our web site
www.EnhanceLaJolla.org which can be then sent back to manager@enhancelajolla.org.
We are asking for your nominations to the Board. All nominees and those making the nominations must
be the current owner, or the owner’s representative, of a property paying the LJMAD assessment and
must be in good standing.
There are four (4) three-year term seats available:
- 1 – Member of the Board of Directors of the La Jolla Community Foundation
- 2 – Property owner or property owner’s representative paying the LJMAD assessment
(non-profit, residential, or commercial) - 1 – Representative of the La Jolla community at large with an interest in the well-being of the La
Jolla Community
Voting is open to all commercial and residential property owners within the district boundaries. Enhance
La Jolla has 13 directors on its governing board. According to the organization’s bylaws, seven are
owners (or representatives of owners) of commercial, residential and nonprofit properties paying the
MAD assessment; three are board members of the La Jolla Community Foundation; one is a member of
the La Jolla Village Merchants Association and two are representatives of the La Jolla community at
large.
The election timeline is:
- Request for Nominations: September 26th until 5:00pm on Monday, October 7th, 2024.
- Voting: Thursday, October 10th, 2024 to noon on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.
- Election and Annual Meeting: Election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on
Thursday, October 17th at 4:00pm. Notices will be sent to all eligible members.

Enhance La Jolla is managed by La Jolla property owners and other community stakeholders. The
organization’s primary goal is to help ensure that The Village remains the jewel of San Diego, with
inviting public spaces that improve the quality of life.
